Canvas is much heavier than muslin. Muslin often has a transparent quality about it if you get it too light weight. Canvas typically needs to be stored in rolls to keep from wrinkling.

Nice! I’ve been looking for some places to find wide muslin – the fabric store near my house seems to think they can only order muslin up to 60″ wide.
